Rene Marie Russo, an American actress and filmmaker who was once a supermodel is now a film director. She is known for her beautiful beauty and her longevity in the highly intense film industry is a reflection of her talents and abilities as performer. Her career began with a modeling job in 1970, and she quickly rose to fame. Beginning in the 1980s she began taking acting classes and studied theater prior to performing on theater stage of Los Angeles. Russo debuted on screen in ABCs Sable drama in 1987. Rose Namajunas, one of the UFC's most popular female athletes, is a successful athlete. She began her career in amateur fighting, taking part in numerous regional promotions before signing with Invicta Fighting Championships and later signing up with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The success she has achieved both inside and outside from the Octagon have made her famous since she was a part of the UFC. Namajunas is the name of a Lithuanian born American, who was born on June 29, 1993 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. While growing up, Rose was involved in activities like basketball and kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships signed the 18-year-old at the age of 18, and she went on to win 2 fights via submission. It caught the attention of Dana White who signed her to join UFC Strawweight at the age of 22. Rose has had highs and she's also had lows in her career but always came out on winning. In April of 2015, Rose was a part of the fight against Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale which she took by a technical knockout in less than three minutes into Round One and not just winner of the title, but getting the honor of being named Fighter Of The Night along with creating history within MMA as this fight marked only the first time that woman was a champion within any major promotion organization around the world . Namajunas was victorious in several bouts after this fight and was awarded Performance Of The Night by UFC in her fights against Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
